Athina was born and raised in Skala, Laconia. At the age of 18 she moved to Athens to study at the Agricultural University, but very quickly decided that it was not what she wanted to do in her life. Thus, in 2005 she moved to the "Central Stage" of Mimi Dennisi and began her studies in the field of acting.
